Busy Bells was created for women with full lives who want to get the biggest bang for their buck when it comes to workouts. Moms, traveling professionals and social butterflies - this program is for YOU! You’re looking for a program that will fit your full life, not drain it. You want to know exactly what to do when you get to the gym (or your backyard, basement, living room!), not waste precious time searching or deciding what to do for your workout. You want to know that the workouts you’re doing have a PURPOSE and will be worth your time. If you’re anything like me (busy working mom who values exercise but not spending HOURS doing it), you’ll LOVE Busy Bells.
13 separate kettlebell training workouts that range from 15 - 30 minutes (excluding the warmup) with the option to shorten or extend based on time, desire and size bells you have.
A tutorial library with coaching cues for all skills and exercises programmed in the workout.
A sample schedule to follow. You can follow the schedule or pick and choose / mix and match. Consistency, not perfection is key.
Access to a closed FB page for form checks, support.
All workouts will be total body so there is no worries if plans change, you won’t be missing out on hitting a certain body part. These workouts are also very metabolic in nature, meaning they’ll be burning a ton of calories long after the workout is over.
Hi, I’m Keri Mantie, founder of The LEAN Life (Lifestyle of Efficient Exercise and Automated Nutrition), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, StrongFirst Kettlebell and Bodyweight Instructor, and Hormonal Fat Loss Coach.
One of the MOST common struggles I’ve heard from clients over my 20+ years in the fitness industry is lack of time to exercise, especially if they’re a mom or a busy career woman, or both!
Believe me, I get it. I’m a full-time working mom to three amazing (and active!) boys. I have ZERO desire to spend a ton of time working out.
Short, intense workouts (just like the ones in BusyBells) have been a game-changer for me and for my clients.
Why? Because when your workout is more effective and takes less time than ever before, you’ll be much more motivated to #juststart and actually stay consistent.
This means better results. And who doesn’t want that?
In Busy Bells, I’ve coupled my applied knowledge of how the body works (I hold a B.S. in Exercise Physiology and an Masters in Applied Exercise Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning) with my passion for helping women get the results they want, faster, through a total-body, energizing, and empowering kettlebell workout.
These exact workouts from Busy Bells have been my go-to workouts for years.

How many kettlebells do I need for this program and where can I buy them? (what if I don't want fat loss fundamentals...)
I recommend having two different size bells for this program. Kettlebells will come in either kilograms or pounds. I recommend a 6kg (8lb.) or an 8kg (17.5lb.) as well as a 12kg (26lb.) or 14kg (30lb.).
Most sports stores sell kettlebells, as well as used sporting good stores like Play it Again Sports. I order all of mine on Amazon and prefer the cast iron bells over the plastic coated ones. I use the Perform Better ones you see here: https://amzn.to/2Gx3qp6
I don’t think I'm fit enough (or strong enough, or young enough) for this program. Is there something I can do before this?
I designed this program with you in mind! The size of the bells you use will determine the intensity, so I'd start on the lower end of the ranges given above. I'll also offer alternatives to any exercises that you have a hard time with and I'll be available to ask any questions that come up on our closed coaching page.
What if I don't know what some of the exercises are?
Inside the exclusive members-only portal there are short instructional videos that break each of the exercises down so you'll know exactly what to do, where you should be feeling it as well as things to avoid.
How do I follow the program?
Your entire program will be housed on a separate website. For each workout you will get a printable PDF as well as instructional videos of all exercises and a complete start to finish demo of the workout.
Will this be available in the future?
I typically offer this program only one time per year! By saying, “Yes!” today, you’ll receive lifetime access to the entire course. Meaning, buy it today, use it anytime in the future!
I don't belong to a gym and I don't have a lot of space to work with at home, is this ok?
100% yes! I love kettlebells because they don't take up a ton of space and you don't need a lot of them to get in a great workout. You don't need a lot of space at all (enough to just lie down). The other great thing about kettlebells is that you get a fantastic workout WITHOUT having to jump up and down a million times - so if you're in an apt., no need to worry about bothering your downstairs neighbors.
I take a kettlebell class (or any other exercise class) at my gym, can I do this too?
Yes! This program can be done on it's own or in combination with what you're already doing. As long as you give yourself ample recovery time between your workouts, you'll do great!
What happens after the 4.5 weeks?
Great question! You can repeat the program with heavier bells, or move up to my intermediate course, #BusyBells 2.0!
Do I have to start the program now?
Nope! You have lifetime access and can start anytime!
I first met Keri in 2015 when she came to train with me for her StrongFirst Level I Kettlebell Certification, which she passed with flying colors in August 2015. StrongFirst is the gold standard of kettlebell training and as a StrongFirst Team Leader, I am proud to call Keri not only my student, but also a trusted colleague and friend. Keri has a wealth of knowledge based upon her education and many years working in the fitness industry and she practices what she preaches. She has helped hundreds of women get stronger, move better, reach their fat loss goals, and subsequently improve the quality of their lives through a sustainable approach to fitness and nutrition. She genuinely cares about helping people and it shows through her work with her clients and the programs she creates. In an industry where authenticity is hard to find, Keri stands strong with solid experience education, and integrity.

I've known Keri as a coach, peer and friend since 2014 and she's meticulous, caring and deliberate in everything she creates and puts out into the world. She's helped so many, not only lose weight or change their body, but do it in a sustainable and holistic way. Keri is no doubt a kettlebell expert, and someone I personally refer clients to who want to excel with the bell. I know that her latest kettlebll program will exceed expectations.

Busy Bells has literally been the only workout I’ve had time for in years. With a 2 year old and a 1 year old running the show in my house, my free time is limited to 15-20 minutes max. Busy bells was challenging (I needed breaks between sets and I was sweating) but the program was easy to understand and the movements targeted my whole body without needing to go through a million exercises. I threw on some good tunes and snuck down to the basement to workout before the kids were awake. It’s the perfect me time without taking up too much time!

I typically work out at a gym, but as a full time working mom there are some mornings that I just can't make it there. These workouts gave me the flexibility to get my workout in with whatever time I had . This program is a great way to incorporate kettlebells into a crazy busy life while also getting stronger!

Busy Bells is awesome! The workouts are quick, but I still break a sweat, get my heart rate up and even further develop my kettlebell skills. I like that I can add reps or time depending on my schedule, or even add them on to other workouts. But I really love having a series of routines to choose from that I can squeeze in on those super busy and chaotic days--the days when it would be SO EASY to make excuses and skip a workout.
- Diane Costagliola, Busy Bells beta tester
I love this program. I've actually completed it 4 times! I keep waiting for Keri to put out another one! Each time I do the program I aim to either increase my bell size, up my reps or do more rounds to continue challenging myself while working on the skills. I do these workouts on my off-days from kickboxing and they've been a really great addition to my training.

I have both of Keri's kettlbell programs (Beginner Bells and Busy Bells) and Busy Bells was definitely my favorite! I loved how short and simple the workouts were and that I always felt as though I worked my entire body.
